    Ogasaka, Sk1, Spine Ultimate

Andy and his team at Enjoywinter/Enjoysummer are the best! I have coached/raced nordic skiing and mountain biking for many years and have interfaced with many shops and reps over the years. I can truly say these guys know the sport of nordic skiing and waxing to the Nth degree! On a recent order I selected a Ogasaka Sk1 skate ski along with some Spine Ultimate skate boots. First the boots. I have had all the different brands of boots over the years. The Spine boots fit really well in that they have a very roomy toe box and are super comfortable right away. Not many high end boots have the volume needed there for people with wider feet and toe issues. Also, the boots have a canting adjustment for the carbon cuff to really dial in the fit/feel of the boots. As for the skis, all I can say is wow! These might be the nicest cold skate skis I've ever had. Bases are top notch right from the factory and handling is second to none. Also, they are lighter than anything out there at each length. On a different note, I have used all the wax lines out there and have to say the new Start liquid line that Enjoywinter carries is one of the best. Most experienced waxers/coaches are familiar with the Start legacy products, as they have performed admirably over the years, but the new liquids are fantastic! I can't stress enough how much I love that I don't need to have a respirator when applying the products, as the carrier is alcohol based. Even with all the fluoro-free waxes we have at our disposal as skiers, the solvents used are almost as bad and dangerous as the flouro additives were when they were heated. Also, the waxes can be polished/fixed immediately with no waiting in between applications. I huge time saver when doing multiple skis for teams or groups. Plus, the speed achieved with the liquids is some of the best I've seen in each wax category.
