Hello Ski Post readers!

We are excited to announce the Enjoy Winter Factory Team has partnered with Nordic Team Solutions to create the EnjoyWinter NTS Factory Team. Nordic Team Solutions, led by 4x Olympian Andy Newell, is America’s premier cross-country skiing coaching service. With this partnership, we will continue to provide all the gear and equipment expertise you need to glide through winter, but now we will also provide access to comprehensive coaching and technique resources. We are beyond excited to keep developing the Factory Team while also providing opportunities to involve and engage our larger skiing community.

Without further ado, we would like to introduce our two Factory Team members for the 2024-2025 season: Annika Landis and Simon Zink.

Annika Landis

Hometown: Hailey, ID

Returning to the Factory team this year is Annika Landis. Annika grew up in Hailey, Idaho where she skied for the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation and quickly became enchanted with the rigors, challenges and supportive community of competitive ski racing. Annika pursued her competitive goals at Middlebury College, where she achieved consistent top-10 results on the EISA collegiate circuit, won a Junior National Championship, qualified for U23 World Championships, and two NCAA Championships. After graduating college in 2020, she returned home to join the Sun Valley Gold Team, and raced for them one season, before joining the Craftsbury Green Racing Project where she skied for two years.

After three seasons racing on the SuperTour circuit, which included a top-10 American Birkebeiner finish, a 3rd place at the Boulder Mountain tour, and multiple top-15s, primarily in distance races, she decided to try something new and more suited to the training and racing that she loves. This past season, she transitioned away from chasing World Cup dreams, and joined the newly revamped Enjoy Winter Factory Team, with the goal of racing domestic marathons and, more importantly, ‘rediscovering’ her love for skiing. Her first season was a resounding success. Season highlights included taking the wins in the Ski de She and Craftsbury Marathon, an agonizingly close 2nd in the Boulder Mountain Tour, 3rd in the Tour of Anchorage, and a top 15 at US Nationals.

Besides skiing, Annika is excited about developing her endurance in ultra trail running, ski touring, cycling, and other mountain adventures and you can often find her scheming on strava or caltopo for the next big quest. She believes fundamentally in embodying sport as a lifestyle and a sustainable lifelong pursuit, and strives to be open and honest about her experiences as an athlete and the challenges and joys that endurance sport can bring.

Simon Zink

Hometown: Fraser, CO

We are excited to have a new teammate, Simon Zink, joining us this year!

Simon grew up in Fraser, CO and skied for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. Simon competed collegiately for the University of Denver, where he graduated with a B.S. in mathematics and won a team NCAA title his Sophomore year. After graduating in 2020, Simon joined the newly formed BSF Pro Team, where he has skied for the past four years chasing his aspirations to compete on the World Cup and in the Olympics. After four years on the super tour circuit, he notched many top results, which included a top-10 American Birkebeiner finish and 5th place at the Boulder Mountain Tour.

This year, Simon is embracing his strengths as a long distance cross country skier and chasing his ski dreams as a member of the Enjoy Winter Nordic Team Solutions Factory Team. Simon loves the process of endurance sport and training through and through. He enjoys immersing himself in human physiology, biomechanics, and training theory as it relates to optimizing himself as an endurance athlete in

not only cross country skiing, but running, cycling, strength training, and ski mountaineering as well.

“I’m excited to pursue racing some longer ski marathons in new places and test myself in a new capacity.”

Both Annika and Simon are training hard in Bozeman, MT this summer and are looking forward to a fun marathon schedule this winter.
