It’s an exciting time of year here at Lumi! We’re preparing for the 2025 winter ski season ahead and I’m thrilled to announce 2026 Lumi trips. Save $300 per person when you reserve your spot before March 31.

Tour de Ski : World Cup Trip
January 1 - 8, 2026
Celebrate the start of 2026 from the village of Cavalese, Italy as you cheer for your favorite athletes competing in the Tour de Ski. Be trailside to see skiers climb the Alpe de Cermis downhill ski hill. Outside of the races, ski two of our favorite Italian trail networks known for their pristine grooming, snow reliability, panoramic views of the Dolomites and trailside cuisine.

Seefeld & Seiser Alm: Sight-Skiing Trip
January 4 - 11, 2026 or January 18 - 25, 2026
Experience the best of cross-country skiing in Europe at two world-class destinations: Seefeld & Seiser Alm. There is no ski racing on this trip, just contemporary accommodations, kilometers of trails with mountain views, and cozy trailside huts serving traditional Italian & Austrian food.

January 16 - 26, 2026
Ski two Worldloppet ski marathons on back-to-back weekends in the Austrian & Italian Alps. In between, ski and Rodel – traditional Austrian sledding – in Toblach, Italy.

Finlandia & Tartu: Worldloppet Trip
February 6 - 16, 2026
180+ km of skiing, saunas and the Finlandia ski marathon await in Lahti, where you can walk from your hotel directly to the start and finish of the famous event. Take a scenic ferry across the Baltic to stay in the medieval city of Tartu, namesake of the Worldloppet ski marathon and home to Estonia’s Olympic Museum.

February 15 - 21, 2026
Head to the birthplace of skiing for a week of exploration and discovery—no ski races on this trip. Norway’s largest trail network overlooking the capital city of Oslo from the famed Holmenkollen venue awaits you. Afterwards, head north to Lillehammer, site of the iconic 1994 Olympic Games and the skiers paradise of Sjusjøen.

Slovenia: Sight-Skiing Trip
February 22 - 28, 2026 or March 1 - 7, 2026
Experience winter ski culture in the Julian Alps with Lumi’s Slovenian trip leaders. Ski for as long or short as you’d like while taking in the majestic mountain views from a variety of trails in and around Planica, 2023 World Championships host and famous ski jumping venue. Explore snowy mountain villages, dine at cozy trailside huts, and visit scenic Lake Bled. At the beginning of the trip get to know Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana and at the end, Venice’s canals.

Travel to Austria & Switzerland for unparalleled skiing & trailside dining. Explore the extensive trails and enjoy the local cuisine from your trailside accommodations in two popular ski destinations – Seefeld and the Engadin Valley. In the Swiss Alps, enjoy a birds-eye view of the valley below from the top of a historic funicular before sledding down on traditional Swiss sleds and ski the gently rolling Engadin ski marathon – the perfect course for new Worldloppet skiers, especially those who prefer to skate ski.

Norway-Birken: Worldloppet Trip
March 9 - 16, 2026 – still accepting bookings for 2025 too!
Head to the birthplace of skiing for a week in Oslo and Lillehammer. Explore the famed Holmenkollen, discover the seemingly endless trails around Sjusjøen and stroll down the cobbled Storgata in Lillehammer. Finish your week connecting with Norwegian history as you ski the remote and mountainous Birkebeiner trail – a goal for many Worldloppet skiers.

Iceland-Fossavatn: Worldloppet Trip
April 13 - 20, 2026
A trip to Iceland would not be complete without seeing waterfalls, volcanic craters, fjords and geothermal pools. Explore Iceland’s rugged countryside en route to Isafjodur, a town in the famed West Fjords region where you can ski the Fossavatn Worldloppet. April in Iceland is known for having long daylight hours and, if it’s a clear day, Fossavatn skiers get long views — to the town and fjord below.
