How long you’ve been skiing: Since I could walk.
Your favorite workout: Ah man. I couldn't pick just one. I love to train, whether it's a short or long interval set, or a long road bike ride in the mountains of Colorado, I love it all.

Your athlete philosophy: Nobody cares. Work harder.
Biography: Having graduated High School in 3 years, Garrett Butts is now onto bigger and better things skiing for Alaska Pacific University, and pursuing a degree in the realm of sports science. Despite having had some unlucky streaks as a junior with illness during his biggest competitions, his progression was evident, moving from results in the teens, up into the top ten, and is now making his way to the highest ranks of American skiing. Despite all the limiting factors during this past season, he was able to make great strides in the Alaskan region, coming in 4th overall in his first 50km race against a stacked field in the well known Tour of Anchorage, and finishing the season with solid races including a 7th overall behind 4 individuals that were on the 2021 American World Champs team, a top 5 NCAA finisher, and another fellow teammate. Currently in his first year as a u23, his sights are set on continuing to move up the ladder, and eventually make his way onto the US Ski Team, the World Cup Circuit, and of course, represent the stars and stripes at the Olympics.
